Community & Family Based Services
Eagle Quest’s Community-Based Services provide comprehensive, supportive services to youth and their families through counseling, case management, enrichment activities, family meetings, and follow-up services. Eagle Quest fosters positive changes in behavior and attitude for youth who are having difficulties at home, school, or in the community. The Community-Based Services team offers interventions and support to address emotional and behavioral challenges faced by the youth and their families.
Family-wide involvement and support is crucial for successful outcomes in treatment, therefore Community-Based Services provides care to the entire family, in addition to individualized attention for the youth. This broad range of care allows for the development of trust and understanding between the parents and the youth which helps improve the dynamics of the family as a whole.
Our Community Based Team offers services for families with challenges including:
- Interfamily Relationships
- Behavioral Challenges
- Social and Emotional Development
- School Advocacy Assistance
- Coping with a disability in a parent and/or child
- Childhood Trauma
- Attachment, Separation, and Loss Issues
- Stress, Depression, and Anxiety
Services include:
- Case Management: Each youth in Eagle Quest’s Community and Family-Based Services is assigned a Case Manager. With the participation of the family, this Case Manager will author the youth’s treatment plan. The Case Manager will work both in the home and the community with the youth.
- Parental Training: We understand that not every parent full understands how to take an active, constructive role in their child’s support system. For each youth in Community and Family-Based Services, Eagle Quest team members will educate the parent and help them productively support their child during their time in Eagle Quest and beyond.
- Therapeutic Counseling: Sometimes, the youth in our program and their families need more guidance and support. For this, Eagle Quest offers three types of therapeutic counseling services: Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, and Group Therapy. The diversity in therapy structures gives these youth the total support that they need.
- Psychosocial Rehabilitation: Psychosocial Rehabilitation is an individualized service conducted through a series of one-on-one meetings with one of Eagle Quest’s mental health specialists. The services take place in a variety of settings from the youth’s home to community environments.
- Basic Skills: Basic Skills Training is a set of services that focus on age appropriate skills with which the youth struggles, the rehabilitation of these skills has the overall focus of bringing the youth up to their highest level of social functioning.
